Kadayawan Feast of Flavours

Image
I received a short notice from SM Davao to join the food tasting at 12NN in their food court Monday morning around 9:30AM. I invited Jong Paguia ( http://jongsalon.blogspot.com ) and Lemuel Gabriel ( http://captaincheap.tumblr.com )to join also. The event is the launching of SM Food court “Kadayawan Feast of Flavours” this August, featuring the King of all Fruits, Durian. CLICK to view in large The tenants of SM Food court prepared eight familiar, yet uniquely cooked dishes, Durian certainly adds a most distinct flavour to your favourite recipes, that’s exceptionally Dabawenyo.

click to view in large I was invited by a fellow blogger ms. Ria Abella to join a food tasting in Digos yesterday together with other bloggers and press including Ms. Joji Alcantara. When I knew that our food destination was at Fiesta Sorpresa in Digos, my memory flashback during the time somewhere February or March 2012 when Fiesta Sorpresa just opened their restaurant, I treat my family to a dinner buffet at Fiesta Sorpresa to try their food, but I just learned yesterday that they no longer serve buffet since May 2012, instead they are now offering ala carte. Sir Allan Echano, owner of Fiesta Sorpresa is also a fellow photographer and we both attended Nikon seminar held at Ponce Suites last 2011. Fiesta Sorpresa offers all time Filipino favorites available in every fiesta from all over the country.
