Sumo Sam in SM Lanang Premier

It was really a privileged to be invited by Ria Jose at the launching of Sumo Sam at SM Lanang Premier last October 7, 2012. Which is good because just a walking distance from our house.

The Sushi cutting was done by Marvin Agustin instead of the ribbon cutting to officially open.

Anyway, I admit I don’t know how to use chopsticks but this doesn’t stop me to eat my favourite dishes like Shrimp tempura so simply delish and tried their house special Sumo Sam’s Red Iced Tea and Green Iced Tea so good in taste that I was not able to take a photo of the drinks.

Food

The Sesame Chicken noodle is really spicy.

California Roll

Chicken Teriyaki so deliciously marinated and loved the taste with sesame seeds.

New and exclusively served in Davao is Mt. Apo Roll because it is stuffed with Durian cream!

 

Taste

Sumo Sam’s Hot Prawn Pride Salad, is served with a mixture of lettuce, red tomatoes, orange prawns, mango and chopped walnuts. I’m telling you, this one is the best tasting salad I’ve eaten and in fact, I highly recommend you must try it before you start your meal.

Price

For Sumo Sam’s price, you get both the flavour and the size.

Place

I so like the bright red interiors with touch of modern Japanese architectural designs. The place is really ideal for date spots, Sumo sam has an elegant, classy yet relaxing place to dine.
